“My husband was the first to see what is now Tucker’s Ridge Farm. I’ll never forget him saying, “You just have to see this” and he was right. Coming up the drive, the property didn’t look anything like it is now, but it was full of so much beauty and potential. It’s tucked back and just opens an unfolds before you. If you turn around and look out from the house, it’s just as wonderful. There aren’t that many places where you can look out your window at an unobstructed view of the early morning mist rising from the fields, or to look up at seemingly endless stars at night without the glare of someone else’s light.

We could not have chosen a better place to raise our family. We’ve galloped across the fields, partied and picnicked, sled down the gentle hills in winter and star gazed at night. Tucker’s Ridge Farm allowed us to pursue our passions and certainly it can be that for someone else, but I see so many other possibilities as well – a family compound, a weekend escape from the stress of the city, a writer’s retreat, a place to farm – the possibilities are endless. With the green gates at the end of the drive, there isn’t any other place that offers such privacy and escape.”
